In a neighborhood known for its nightlife and eclectic dining scene, a new mixed-use development is moving forward. Located at the intersection of 18th street NW and Columbia Road NW in Adams Morgan, Hoffman & Associates and Potomac Investment Properties are leading the development.

Known to many Washingtonians as SunTrust Plaza, the new condo development will sit on the former grounds of a SunTrust bank branch. According to plans submitted by the developers, 52 residential condo units and a penthouse level will sit above the bustling sidewalks below.
The plans also reveal resident amenities will include:
- A 5th-floor roof deck,
- Bike storage room,
- A green roof, and
- 32 below-grade parking spaces.
The six-story property is not destined to be purely residential, though. The developers aim to add at least two street-level commercial tenants to the property. Initial renderings showcase a paved plaza that will include outdoor seating for a café or restaurant tenant.
