The Menkiti Group, a Certified Business Enterprise, is teaming up with Enlightened to redevelop a historic part of Anacostia. Titled the MLK Gateway, the developers will bring office buildings, retail, and community buildings to the intersection of Martin Lither King Jr Ave SE and Good Hope Rd. Enlightened, an award-winning IT consulting company, will be moving its headquarters to the MLK Gateway. Other future tenants include Busboys & Poets, a fresh foods market, and a real estate education academy.
The massive project, which includes 22,000 square feet of retail space and 29,000 square feet of office space, will be completed next summer.
