We are excited to share DFM Development Services, LLC is providing dry utility coordination services for Promark Partners’ Rock Grove property in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Rock Grove, formerly the Shady Grove Professional Building and adjacent retail strip, has transformed considerably in recent years. The modernized mixed-use property boasts an entirely new façade along the 14,000 square foot retail strip headlined by oversized storefront glass, metal panels, and stone. The retail space has also been structurally altered to provide maximum ceiling height and to increase its presence from the road.
Located at the intersection of MD Route 355 and Shady Grove Road, the office building has also undergone extensive renovations. The building’s ground-floor retail enhancements include a new stone facade, and bright epoxy paint now decorates the precast panels on floors two through five.
It’s no surprise that these changes have attracted new retail tenants. Promark Partners recently announced that Qdoba Mexican Eats had joined its growing list of retail tenants, including Minerva Indian Cuisine and Dunkin’. With additional changes in the works, ownership expects to announce new retail tenants in the coming months.
This project is our second with Promark Partners in as many years. We completed a dry utility site study and dry utility coordination services as part of their Gude Plaza redevelopment project in Rockville, MD.
